In hindsight, market timing always works but in reality, most investors get it wrong way more often than they get it right.

I think it's unhealthy for an invesotr to play the would have, should have, could have game.

I guess all I'm trying to say is if a fellow had liquidated all his holdings 15 or 16 months ago and played ther GIC game, for sure he'd be ahead of where he is today.  Not much point basking in a generous divvy when it's cost you a 20 or 30 % drop in share price over the past 18 months.
