RE:Surprised but happy

RE:Surprised but happyDear you,
What more can I suggest? If you read some of my earlier posts, I suggested the company be sold and Mr. Dugr did just that... I'm certain I had nothing to do with management's decision, but why did they do it when they had a great future? They see grater profits in the future with this new arrangement, and good for them: read carefully what they're doing with their shares that we can't do. Do you think threy did this just to make us happy?
Pension plans obligations for this company mean nothing, as is the case for a great number of manufacturing companies in Quebec because they have none - read their annual report as only key people benefit from an incentive plan of sort.
I still say the stock was manipulated because 166% of anal-yst Tremblay's earlier share estimate would have brought the share up to close to $6.00. Chances are his clients were getting worried seeing the stock's debacle in just one month or so!
It's all (treated) water under the bridge now,
At any rate, just like you, after more than 10 years of having invested in that company, I will gladly pay a substantial capital gain tax which I hope my accountants will help me temper.
Nice chatting with you, but it's my last post on this board, going to count my money to invest with other winners.
