RE:RE:RE:Very sad Board Ultimately, we do not know what went on between J.P., J.Paul and the board, that was almost 30 years ago, so why bring it up again? Rumours are just that, rumours ! JP had the financial connections to push forward the Engineering, Professionals and reports, J Paul had the First Nation connections with negotiating skills. Two Alpha’s in the room don’t always mix well. In hind site ,this could have been a great team, but it wasn’t. I believe, now, that the Lake Babine Nation (LBN) made the correct decision in blocking this particular mine design (my opinion). Engineer’s make mistakes, we have heard about Mt Polley dam break, Sechelt slope slide and now Williams Lakes West slope on the Fraser is slowly sliding and many more examples. With changing climate conditions (heavy rains), tailings distributed on a side of a mountain don’t look favourable. I don't know if this was the main issue but for me it was a concern. We witnessed the recent flooding in the lower mainland, Merritt, Fraser Valley and the Coquihalla. All have done major destruction to nature, infastructure and lives. We as investors can all point fingers, shoulda, coulda woulda but ultimately we lost out on an opportunity because there were concerns, not with LBN but with the design. Doesn’t matter who was managing BKM, LBN saw the danger and made the call. Perhaps in the future, BKM may find a solution to LBN’s concerns and this mine is built. It could be with JP, could even be with J Paul, but whoever it is, they will have to satisfy all mine concerns with LBN. These are my own personal opinions so now I move on. Good fortune to all in the future, and for now, let go. This is one opportunity I will not be waiting any longer.
