RE:RE:RE:RE:War Breaking out in ME ............ Oil to $100+ on Monday Thus the beauty of long life oil reserves in politically stable locations.
Alberta is one such location. Alberta has many threats, Inflation, climate legislation, etc. but on a relative scale Alberta remains a politically stable location.
How long will Alberta and Gamehost benefit from oil consumption?
There is no easy answer, but my instincts tell me when the chips are down, Canada will export oil to fund there socialized medical / welfare state.
IMO Canadian leaders eventually have to make the following decision
Stop Canadian oil production or buy votes by promising free stuff to voters.
When times are good and tax dollars are flowing, leadership speaks of saving the planet.
When times are bad and the population clamours for hand-outs, leadership quietly finds ways for oil production to continue.
Hence the central thesis in Nukester's investment paradigm involves continued oil production in Alberta :-) While oil production seems assured, profits and share price are a separate matter.
Cheers to getting the timing right,
