RE:What is happening? I'm starting to wonder it is partially to do with the diversity of Paramount's holdings? The NVA shares are nice but they can't be liquidated quickly and (IMHO) unless used as leverage for a takeover there is little that can be done with those shares but look at them. There is no dividend paid, and they do not generate cash flow.
I also wonder if investors aren't a bit sceptical of some of the other businesses that are under the POU umbrella? This is an O&G company but they are major holders in a sand supply company? What does company management know about this space? Do they have a team of analysts working on this everyday to provide good intel?
I always appreciate MHPs take and have listened in the past and profited but these are two issues that bother me. Any good investment has an exit target/strategy, what is that for POU's stake in NuVista?
