The Company also conducts energy trading activities focused primarily on the marketing and trading of crude oil, natural gas, byproducts, refined products and power. It also wholly owns the Fort Hills Project, which is located in Alberta's Athabasca region.

IAA/Bil C-69 Ruling versus Base Mine Extension Application

Can someone clarify what impact this ruling will have on the likleyhood of Suncor getting the Base Mine Extension approved?

"The project summary table and initial project description have been submitted to the Alberta Energy Regulator and the Impact Assessment Agency of Canada, respectively. The project application and impact statement are expected to be submitted in 2025."
