I think you are all right in a way.

EVs will greatly affect oil demand, question is when GLOBAL oil demand will peak.
US demand probably already peaking.
But globally, I think a couple years to go.

But do we need long term demand? Oil stocks trading at 20% FCF, do we need 10 years of high demand? I think 4 or 5 is fine.
If these stocks were trading at 10% FCF I would be long gone.
