RE:RE:RE:at what point, doesthis become a BUY?That's the idea. Classic value play. Admittedly it's a pretty scary buy here as it gets sold but that's probably a good sign.
Thanks for your other posts as well. I tend to agree with Telfser and if the dividend is indeed safe this stock will rerate higher sooner than later.
The pro/con of this type of company that I see is the bulky contract work which leads to large swings in P/L leading to large swings in stock price. The con is that you're in the dark on what's coming down the pipeline and you hope that new contracts will come (as James T. confidently assumes) and the pro is the opportunity in that short term panic from the market. How low will it go first and how much pain do you need to withstand?
That leads me to the psychological part of the owners of the past year. People will just want to take a loss and get out and maybe take advantage of tax loss selling. I went through it in oil/gas in 2019, sold at a loss only to watch those stocks 5x after covid.
