RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:This board is well equipped. Couple of key points to remember apapas. This isn't a year ago. The whole landscape has changed with more than a handful of battery EV makers committing $5 billion plus each with minimal supply sewn up and nickel in high demand for new high mileage batteries as well.
Recall Friedland saying a year ago these car companies were clueless how the supply chains for nickel etc operated. They thought they could snap their fingers and a billion pounds of nickel appeared.
Since the US and Canadian governments started doling out $60 billion alone in Canada it was relayed to them to begin to invest heavily to help get the mines they need up and running to coincide with the plant start ups in a few years.
A few hundred million each when your spending 5 billion just for the battery plant and who knows how much more to retool the EV plants is nothing to these guys.
They got a major wake up call and the banging on the door is real and urgent. I expect a solid deal for us and a major re-rating.
Also a steel company could scoop us all up and screw the battery guys if they doddle much longer. Stainless steel is in high demand as well not to mention the CC. Time is ticking and the ball is now in CNC's court IMHO.
