RE:RE:Gasser Group in France Tests New Ruthenium and Osmium PDCsI don't know Longholder99. Maybe someone else on this board does. What is the scope of all the US and European patents held by Dr. McFarland, Theralase, and the Gasser Group?
I know Dr. McFarland has this US patent:
US10766915B2 Metal-based coordination complexes as photodynamic compounds and their use It covers a specified formula of these compounds:
"... osmium, manganese, molybdenum, rhenium, ruthenium, iron, cobalt, rhodium, iridium, nickel, platinum, palladium, vanadium, chromium, tungsten, technetium, and copper"
The Gasser Group has this Euopean patent which seems to cover just Ruthenium compounds:
EP3757111A1 Ruthenium (ii) complexes and conjugates thereof for use as photosensitizer agent in photodynamic therapy "The present invention relates to ruthenium (II) complexes bearing polypyridyl ligands and conjugates thereof with a biomolecule such as a peptide, a protein, an aptamer, an antibody or an antigen binding fragment thereof, in particular for use as photosensitizer agent in photodynamic therapy. The present invention also relates to a method of preparation of ruthenium (II) complexes bearing polypyridyl ligands." I think Roger would be the right person to ask for clarification.
