RE:HOPE - DREAMS - FANTASIES - AND THEN REALITY Horse,
I do disagree with your statements especially regarding past behavior. This company has been growing aggressively in the past 6 years. All through acquisition and one big mine build. The entire industry has been beaten up during this time , and the stock had two big red flags hurting sp. First being los filos mine which has not worked out as planned and management has owned and acknowledged that and the second one has been Greenstone build. I don't think they have been given any credit for Greenstone yet. With the greenstone build they have been spending a lot, as advertised, however they have have been on budget and on schedule. The market hasnt rewarded them and still needs to see the on time budget completion to believe it.
With Greenstone in production they do not need significantly higher gold prices because their AISC willl be lower. I do expect a revision higher on capex for greenstone gold than previously stated. I believe they alluded to this in one of their interviews.
Like I said before, it hasn't been fun owning this stock last few years, but none of my minings stocks have been fun either.
I would think a dividend is closer than market believers as cash flow wil increase signifiacantly just by reduction in capex. Caveat to that is if we purchase other 40 percent of greenstone sooner and or make another aquisition. I'd be all in for both although most retail investors don't like buyin stocks when share price has been beaten or do they like companies to buy when a sector is getting beaten up because company won't instantly be rewarded.
