ktmyannick strikes again.....If he is going to go to the trouble of publishing these videos, then I suggest a little more due diligence is in order, as some of his statements are at best "alternate facts".
Sue came from the small motor division of GE. Wolong paid just $164 million in 2018 for the entire operation including a ten year trademark use agreement. She was not running one of the biggest electric motor companies in the world as he claims.
Sue's reputation and experience does not require this needless embellishment. It sends the wrong message. Serious investors know her background and her credentials.
EXRO (Sue) has explained why the battery control elements used in the Cell Driver ESS solutions are not transferable to the Coil Driver (at least for the time being). Each cell within the plurality of cells of an ESS requires a sensor so the software can do what it needs to in order to assess SOH and SOC. That adds far too much cost to a vehicle battery pack. (refer to Sue's webcast held in August of this year).
Yes, Linamar has signed a commercial agreement and has certainly legitimized the coil driver for their desired use case. It is important to note that there are a myriad of use cases and that each and every one of them requires many, many months to be proven out. Commercial arrangements form part of those considerations.
Case in point is the accreditations required for your product and internal processes to be recognized by the various members of the automotive industry and certified as useable.
Clearly this man thinks EXRO requires a video cheerleader to counter whatever negativity he hears/sees on various forums. And clearly he must also feel that his videos have an impact, otherwise why continue to publish?
Using share price as a metric, I suggest that the impact is not what he anticipates. Perhaps there is another motive.
I really do not mind the idea of a shareholder providing their opinions using this format. But they are subject to scrutiny in the same way that any post on this board is too.
