Artis Real Estate Investment Trust is an unincorporated closed-end REIT based in Canada. Artis REIT's portfolio comprises properties located in Central and Western Canada and select markets throughout the United States, including regions such as Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Arizona, Minnesota, Colorado, New York, and Wisconsin. The properties are divided into three categories: office, retail, and industrial. The industrial properties account for most of the portfolio, followed by the office properties and the retail properties.

Reviewing Insider purchases

They started plowing money into Artis units REGULARLY at $12.10 May 5, 2022, and bought regularly up until March 2023 at $7's. Then I assume they ran out of funds or got worried. I take it the average on all these purchases would be around $9.00. This is not sandpiper but nonetheless shows how off guard he was the extent of this REIT downturn.
