USHA Starts Third Phase of Exploration at the White Willow The lithium sector, characterized by its remarkable growth, holds immense promise for the future, especially in the context of clean energy and advanced technology. In the dynamic world of lithium exploration, where the demand for this vital mineral continues to surge, Usha Resources Ltd. (Ticker: USHA.v or USHAF for US investors) is exploring high-potential battery metal projects in the US and Canada.
After completing 5 weeks of fieldwork, USHA has successfully expanded the lithium-cesium-tantalum ("LCT") pegmatite trend at its White Willow Lithium-Tantalum Project in Ontario to an impressive potential strike length of over 25 kilometers, extending openly at both ends.
Assays from 618 samples have illuminated 10 high-priority drill targets with potassium/rubidium ratios (K/Rb) below 30. These ratios play a pivotal role in identifying spodumene-bearing dikes, and USHA has identified 10 pegmatites with K/Rb ratios below 30, with a minimum value of 7.5. These findings suggest the presence of rare-earth pegmatites, spodumene-subtype pegmatites, and economic spodumene pegmatites, each with their unique significance.
This has paved the way for a third phase of exploration where two dedicated teams are being deployed for up to six weeks to maximize mapping, sampling, and prospecting in preparation for drilling.
As part of this inaugural drill program, USHA plans to drill each of these 10 target pegmatites. The results so far have been very promising, with up to 0.5% Li2O, 1,833 ppm cesium, 120,000 ppm tantalum, and 3,540 ppm rubidium observed.
