Basic science is controlling the narrative for all of thesejunior hopefuls and until the downhole saturation, solubility, and thermal dynamics conundrum is tackled, basic science will continue to rule the day. I think they are quickly realizing highly saturated NaCl brines are not the answer to liberating viable KCl to the surface.
There are some interesting theories circulating out there regarding a term called ”Salting Out”, and finding a solvent that will prevent KCl from precipitating out of solution quicker than NaCl altering the ion common affect will be the ultimate answer to the current conundrum.
Lots of smart people on this site so any suggestions folks, as I am sure every horizontal selective potash solution mining exec out there would love to hear about it!
