RE:What is going on with this management ?Hello,
As a shareholder is your right to ask these questions of the management. I am a shareholder of CloudMD. I do not claim to be privvy to inner operational daily workings of CloudMD. Here is my take or 2 cents worth of contribution that hopefully is rational:
1 - As a senior leader managing business transformation in my organization, I empathise with Karen & team on siloed, disconnected and incongruent mess that they inherited
2- Adding new business on disconnected, siloed and incongruent system of people, process, data & technology would have added more complexity and operational costs. Hence Step 1 was to integrate, build connected workflows and simplify. Unfortunately, Step 1 is the most difficult and takes the longest
3 - The next step which is Step 2 should be done in parallel to Step 1. Step 2 is about expanding channel network and adding sales capabilities. Once Step 1 is done, it is time to aggressively but rationally execute on Sales Acceleration
This is where CloudMD is at. Does it have a winning value prop in the market? Honestly I am a little unclear as Karen and team have not come out clearly to say that. Have they been adding new business over last few months? Yes.
Looking ahead, success is defined as achieving breakeven and profitability with organic sales growth. This will keep costs low. At that time, CloudMD will be bought out as consolidation is inevitable.
Do I have faith in leadership? I would give a 6 out of 10. If I see increase in revenue and continued reduction in operational costs, it will increase my trust.
I hope my response helps. I rarely post here but I felt your angst, frustration and suffering as a shareholder and wanted to share my perspective. And yes, it is incredibly difficult to see your investment dwindle. For now, I remain vested.
