RE:RE:RE:RE:Fobi as a "social media" company....As pointed out in the original post Fobi is not a social media company but this is not the main idea. the idea is to look at how the main social media companies make their money. Most of them make their money buy using ads....
In Fobi's case users do not exchange data among themselves but what you have is a large number of users with a common interest (20 million users that belong to a youth association (or whatever it is that the company that Fobi cannot metion is doing), millions of users who bought car insurance and belong to any of the 10 major insurance companies serviced by Fobi or lawyers in SA, etc). If you know the interst of a usr of a wallet then there is a way to directly or indirectly (using the company that hire Fobi) to reach those users with very targetted ads. If you were an auto company would not you be interested in sending an add to all people ensured by an insurance company? will you be willing to pay for this?
