I thought a return of value to shareholders was to be a high priority of the members of the board but my how the world has changed. This link shows an article on the priorities of a typical board. Nowhere does it mention a return of investment or value but they are centered on such things as equity, inclusion, and diversity and climate change. You know -- all the important stuff!
