They are all approaching correction territory, which is down 10%-20%.
The GDXJ has actually been outperforming the big guys.
My memory tells me that I experienced in that past times where the main indices went down. The first things people sold was speculative stocks.
Thankfully, the price of gold has been on an uptick.
Another problem is that most people have only a certain amount of money for speculative stocks. And a lot of that is into things like Bitcoin and AI. Gold juniors are getting a much smaller piece of the pie now from that speculative money. That could change.
The interest rates and the defaults of a couple of small banks that loaned to start ups i'll call it, well it is much more difficult to get financing.
Sgnl are drilling some wildcat holes. (does that word apply to mining as well as gold?)
If they hit good on one of the holes a significant distances from where the gold is known to be... this could be a cinderella story.
