As you Pandora are the resident king of following the patents , whats the lastest scoop ?
Three I am tracking right now, two directly with Exro and one with DPM Technologies.
It seems that nothing moves as slowly as the USPTO other than the UL Certification office.
The closest to action is the one on
Systems and Methods for Individual Control of a Plurality of Controllable Units of Battery Cells
This was given a Notice of Allowance on Sept. 20, 2023 which means it was essentially approved and ready for issue after fees were paid, etc. For whatever reason there was an amendment submitted after the Notice and that has delayed things. I would expect it to be on the move shortly. There was a drawing involved and that was given a green flag so now it is a matter of mostly paperwork I presume.
The DPM one is on
INTELLIGENT CONTROL OF ROTATING ELECTRIC MACHINES
and it was last acted on on June 30, 2023 when a whole raft of "non-patent literature" and "foreign reference" items were submitted. No idea how long it may take for that one to move forward.
The third one is submitted by Exro and is on
DYNAMICALLY RECONFIGURABLE POWER CONVERTER UTILIZING WINDINGS OF ELECTRIC MACHINE
The last action on this was January 12 - 13, 2023 when the "Notice of Publication" took place and a Power of attorney was assigned. No idea why further steps have not been taken yet on this one.
