RE:RE:LFP 4680 .... Hmmmm who could it be... This thread discusses cathode suppliers to LG Energy Solutions and GM . I'm not trying to discount the chances that Nano will be the cathode materials provider for LGES. However, the fact is LGES has an existing relationship with a battery materials manufacturer based in the US that has plans to supply the market with environmentally friendly, North American made cathode materials (see link below but I'm sure most already know who LG is currently partnered with).
Also, GM has recently announced that they are pushing out their EV milestones. This means the demand for cathode materials is likely moving outwards, not forwards.
Nano One themselves have stated we need all the cathode North America can produce. So Nano is not worried about competition and neither should we be. But I think LGES may likely favor working with an existing partner.
