RE:RE:RE:LFP 4680 .... Hmmmm who could it be... The business contact between Nano One Materials (formerly JMBM) and LG Chem / LG Energy Solution has existed for a long time!
"[@JPN19685] @egyptian_nwb "The Candiac plant was built for Sud Chemie to be scalable within its floorplan. It never scaled beyond initial fit up, and even what was initially commissioned was largely underutilized, hence the small throughput figure.. it was built a decade before its time.. only now that JMBM is pulling pin do we see a wall of north american cathode demand stacking up if we look out 18+months..
>>> ... but it produces top quality product, supplying marquee names like LG Chem / LG Energy Solution (who have been working the last couple years to bring a LFP cell offering back to market at large scale.) <<<
So as a home for nano's process, the existing facility along with the property's surrounding greenfield can support phased 'one-pot' throughput to a significant scale, and by virtue of housing a hydrothermal process, it was built to similar requirements mechanically and structurally as one would for a nano 'one-pot' facility, which would be a valuable accelerator in combination with the hire of its existing staff.
