From its initial launch in 2003 wifi3 has made some serious performance claims. The first Tolly test, from back at launch, said a 50x performance improvement. Subsequent tests said 7-18. In either case a substantial improvement in service delivery. And LG did have some complimentary things to say as well. So the question is why will no one buy the tech. According to the company they have been engaged with a large number of big players. Not one has decided to do business. No VC arm has made an investment.

Why?

There has to be a reason why they can't get a sale or investment from a player. Obvious things like scale, funding and head count matter. But the fact is all those are easily addressable if you like the tech. So why hasn't anyone liked the tech enough to do something with Yfi?

Genuinely curious.

Leo, you should hire a tutor to do some research that is more relevant , and therefore the results might aid you in revising and redirecting many of your questions in another direction.

Let`s start with your timeframe of 2003 and stop it in 2015. Now, based on your knowledge of the wi-fi industry during this period, who were the big financial winners behind all wi-fi products? Secondly, do a deep dive into the  dairy milk industry to discover how they maximize profits.  Now, forget that you are a tech laggard and for once in your life try to imagine the behavior of the normal consumer.

Once you have completed this task you should not only answers to many of your questions, but many others that you may discover more pertinent.

Now we know by your own admission that you are not a shareholder ,so therefore it is also understandable why you have only performed limited research in this subject.
Hence, if it is now too difficult for you to play catch up, we can understand that too.

Just genuinely interested in your education.
