Insider sales? Just before news is expected? Insider sales of company stock just before news is expected or at anytime for that matter is often perceived as a sign that bad news is on the horizon. But for the sake of being the devil's advocate, what if a sale by an insider is a signal the company is running a tight ship and nobody can accuse the company of a leak just before and important news item is expected to come to market. And what if the resulting insider sale results in a modest sell off of the company's stock ahead of upcoming good news that allows more accumulation of cheap shares instead of chasing the stock higher because of FOMO ahead of potentially good news?
All Hypothetically speaking of course! This would never happen!
