What Next for SNV - Drilling, Production, Reserve Report etcSo what to expect over the next couple of months?
- Apply for and get the permit to drill. That could be as early as mid-week. Might require some paperwork from Proton - so based on recent experience - there could be delay due to proton
- Secure an available rig - shoould not be an issue this time of the year in Canada and likely the eartlier permitted rig could be available
- Given the earlier permitting the site should be rig-ready once the permit is issued
- Announcement of rig-move
- Announcement of drilling progress
- Announcement of drilling-log results and intention to install a production battery - these are readily available in Canada - stacked and awaiting sale
- Announcement of planned next hizoontal well - from the same permitted and constructed drill pad - ideally with the same rig - while still on location
- Announcement of drilling result for first horizontal well
- Announcement of production permitting and transport to site of a battery suitably sized for 4 well propduction from the same pad
- RESERVE REPORT
- Announcement of initial production
- Announcement of 3 more wells etc
- Announcement that SNV has earned a 72% in the lands
There is an opportunity here for continuous news flow. What is missing is some commerical promotional activity, hopefully we will see that in the short term.
Then there is this much mooted life-changing Mena acquisition. The fields in the MENA region can be enormous and to pick up an exisiting drilled and maybe producing field would totoaly change SNV. Sara Akkbar has publically commented that she wants to build a mid-tier independent in the MENA region. That means an independent producing 100-200,000 BOE per day. This is the real potenital of Sonoro Energy.
