If we can believe Ray Ferris, then the government and industry is no where closer to reaching a deal.

Canada has no merit in negogiating this as the Country is a hyprocrite.  Dairy farmers and the protectionism that they are given has essentially f'ed us over.

I used to work in an accounting/tax firm which had a large base of agriculature clients.  I remember asking a senior partner what type of farmers do the best financially.  Far and away, dairy farmers.....at the expense of all the Canadian taxpayers and other producers life forestry products.  They had a strong lobby group when Nafta was negogiated.
