RE:2 TRILLION wreckhouse......Sadly this has been going on for decades. I can recall even as far back as 50 years ago travelling to Europe and people there often commented on how they had the same standard of living as us even though Canada was so rich in natural resources. Trudeau with his silly WOKE mentality has taken this theme to unprecedented levels and unspeakable levels of national debt.
When I look at my grandchildren, I am thankful that I can leave a legacy for them and they will be ok financially - many people are not in that position and their successive generations will face a lower standard of living thanks to these policies and a huge national debt
In terms of energy and the oil business, your point wreckhouse is well taken. The whole world is one big ecosystem. So the current Canadian Government policy on emissions and limits on the oil industry is a bit saying we will keep the foxes from eating rabbits and the wolves say thank you. The end result is that the foxes (Canadians) starve to death and the wolves (China etc) get fat eating unlimited rabbits.
