Media impressions measure the impact of an ad and the number of times it is consumed. Further, an impression is a metric used to quantify the number of digital views of an advertisement.
 
Impressions create the path between a brand’s targeted audience, marketing funnel and POS outcome. They set up the bigger picture, adding the prior details needed in order to completely discern audience metrics and understanding.
 
Media impressions are the lingua franca of marketing. Brands use them as a baseline for gauging impact.  All brands understand and appreciate the ability to quantify the influence of an ad. Driving impressions ultimately leads to brand success. Boosting impressions leads to a boost in engagement and community.   Impressions allow brands to see how many times its audience interacts with its content; it also serves as a way to analyze what content people like and what content they don't. This helps to create a channel of communication between the brand and the consumer.
