Installation of fuel cells are a integral component of the University goal for carbon neutrality by 2030. Selection of Hydrogen capable future equipment is necessary to meet the electrical demand on campus and improve our greenhouse gas emissions profile.

The fuel cells are to service the Innovative Partnership Building which will generate electrical and thermal energy to be consumed at the installation site.

The University will purchase the electricity and (if/when applicable) thermal energy generation form the fuel cell through the execution of a Energy Purchase agreement with the provider. This award is the result of a publicly advertised solicitation.
