Alternate Symbol(s):  EVKRF

Grid Battery Metals Inc. is a Canada-based exploration company. The Company focuses on exploration for high-value battery metals required for the electric vehicle (EV) market. The Company owns a 100% interest in the Texas Spring Property which consists of mineral lode claims located in Elko County, Nevada. The Property is in the Granite Range southeast of Jackpot, Nevada, about 73 km north-northeast of Wells, Nevada. The target is a lithium clay deposit in volcanic tuff and tuffaceous sediments of the Humbolt Formation. The property neighbours Surge Battery Metals’ Nevada North project, which has reported results of up to 5,120 ppm. Grid Battery’s other Nevada lithium projects are Clayton Valley Lithium Project and Volt Canyon Lithium Property. Respectively, the Company owns a 100% interest in 113 lithium claims covering 640 hectares in Clayton Valley and 80 lithium claims covering 635 hectares in Monitor Valley.

Major Players & EV Industry Fuel Lithium Demand

The interest in Australian lithium deposits by major players like SQM, Rio Tinto, and Tesla underscores the growing demand for lithium, primarily driven by the electric vehicle (EV) industry.

Back in North America, Grid Battery Metals Inc. (trading under the symbols CELL.v and EVKRF) is looking to address future lithium demand through its three lithium Nevada-based projects. CELL is dedicated to advancing projects that harness the potential of battery metals, and recent developments underscore their promising prospects in this field.

Among CELL's assets is the Texas Springs Property, located in Elko County, Nevada. This property hosts a lithium clay deposit within volcanic tuff and tuffaceous sediments of the Humboldt Formation.

Adjacent to the Texas Spring Property the Nevada North Lithium Project owned by Surge Battery Metals Inc. (trading as NILI.v), has produced encouraging results. Recent drilling by NILI revealed lithium content reaching up to 8070 parts per million (ppm), which reflects very positively on Texas Spring's prospects.

CELL is also making significant headway with its Clayton Valley Lithium Project, where it holds a 100% stake in 113 lithium lode and placer claims. This region has a rich history of lithium-bearing volcanic ash deposits.

The company's Volt Canyon Lithium Property, situated in Monitor Valley, Nevada, encompasses about 635 hectares of alluvial sediments. The property contains sediment-hosted lithium clay targets with favorable year-round accessibility for exploration and exploitation. While there has been limited exploration, NURE data surface samples in the region have shown lithium concentrations of up to 108 ppm Li near the claim block.

CELL's exploration team recently conducted a site visit to Volt Canyon. As part of their exploration strategy, CELL has engaged Rangefront Geological to carry out comprehensive soil sampling on a 100m x 100m grid on the property, marking the initial phase of their exploration efforts.

The data gathered from these soil samples, coupled with forthcoming geophysical surveys, will be crucial in predicting the geological structure and identifying potential lithium accumulation points.
