There's no future for companies that suck up all their cash flow to drill more holes or start new projects....Barrick's share price is the same as it was 10 years ago. You have the right mindset...be satisfied to bank your gain when others are chasing it. You'll miss some upside but you'll avoid riding it all the way back down which historically what happens. Greed is good to a point but these are NOT growth industries. They eat their seed corn. You're basically playing against the herd who always get the most excited near the top and panic sell at the bottom. It's a poker game really. Frankly I don't think there's anything worth investing in now but the gold miners do look primed for a sustained move which can sometimes be breath taking.
