My guessPartwaythere, is First Nation communities across Canada are going to be much more careful in signing long term contracts with corporations for the extraction of minerals from their lands.

The folks at Muskowekwan have been tied up for a decade, with nothing ever materializing with the exception of a few close to the action filling their pockets.

Not sure if there is any type of production timelime termination clause in the original contract, but 10 years of inactivity is a long time to wait for a shovel to hit the ground.
