RE:RE:Simple QuestionAgreed Kavern, I'm sure there were more than one set of eyes looking at Hammerhead's assets.. the fact that they have a lot of infrastucture in place for expansion is going to allow CPG to hit the ground running once the transaction is complete IMO.. ;-)

Don't think it takes a genuis to figure out both ARC and Paramount were interested in Hammerhead hence the price it went for.  

The big thing stopping ARC is likely the massive infrastructure investment In BC they are already doing but the diverfisifcation factor of Hammer having more oily must have been appealing to ARC.

CPG probably didnt have time to wait until spring as Hammerhead assets would give both paramount and arc better ability to lay off the heavy NG wells while NG prices are sruggling...so one of those two may have acted on hammer
