RE:VLF Results look interesting!Nice to see the more detailed geophysics for the area and good to hear that they have geologists ready to deploy in the field. "
Company has initiated a geological mapping and prospecting program to further refine and test new targets and develop detailed exploration plans to ultimately drill test the highest priority targets." I see
three very interesting items on this geophysics the first one is being proven as I type:
- The pink trend (west of Signal's West Pit) towards Dolliver Mountain host the same anticlinal structure and has good gold as noted in a recent PR (26.09 g/t gold over 8.9 metres) and (11.79 g/t gold over 4.1 metres). Pit3 baby and bigger than current East and West Pit combined!!! When drilling finishes show me a new resource estimate please...over 4 million ounces!
- The nice pink trend seems to continue west of Dolliver Mountain (west of the Isaacs Harbour Fault (IHF)). If the anticlinal structure is found to continue to the west of the IHF AND is similarly mineralized..could be a game changer...yes DDD potentially a 4th Pit, if not perhaps some high-grade underground targets (MORE OUNCES)...this is a we shall see possibility.
- This point is IMPORTANT. The area east of the East Pit is not owned by Signal Gold...it is owned by Atlantic Mining NS Inc. (Atlantic Mining NS Inc is a subsidiary of St Barbara Ltd who paid around $800 million for Atlantic Gold in May 2019 and bought out NS Gold in Feb 2022 for almost $8 million). Note that Signal's East Pit stops very close to the claim boundary with Atlantic. IMHO, I suspect the gold may trend east onto Atlantic Mining NS Inc's claim block. Signal Gold and Atlantic Mining NS Inc I suspect had some discussions when Signal did their regional claim block purchases earlier this year. Looks like Atlantic was not keen to sell as they still have the claim block which is currently being renewed (according to Novaroc). Atlantic, according to their M&A, plan to do some drilling there this year. If successful in finding the continuation to the east...would make sense for Signal and Atlantic to chat some more??? Would Atlantic make another purchase or maybe joint venture with Signal??? Atlantic does have a nice chunk of cash and a track record for buying gold companies in Nova Scotia. Goldboro would be a very long term prize for Atlantic and I am sure they are VERY WELL AWARE OF THAT!
