RE:Conference call I didn't have time for the c.c. But your query was answered in the published comments here on SH. The Joliet sales have been woeful.
We were promised production end of 2022 ( yes we got one prototype bus) but in the last 10 months of 2023 Joliet has lagged St Jerome given that J is many many times larger and consuming most of the capex.
I am concerned that in the upcoming elections whether in US or in Canada a change in governments could threaten the extremely generous subsidies without which I fear a collapse in sales.
We experienced it here in Ontario when the (now scandal ridden) Doug Ford govt was elected they slashed almost every "green" subsidy in sight just because it had a Liberal provenance,
"For the three months ended September 30, 2023, revenue amounted to $80.3 million, an increase of $39.4 million compared to the corresponding period in the prior year. The increase in revenue was due to an increase in vehicle sales volume of 89 units, from 156 units (108 school buses and 48 trucks; 140 vehicles in Canada and 16 vehicles in the U.S.) for the three months ended September 30, 2022 to 245 units (220 school buses and 25 trucks; 132 vehicles in Canada and 113 vehicles in the U.S.) for the three months ended September 30, 2023."
