RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Canopy reduced debt by $364 Million DollarsHistorical high on Canopy Growth MarketCap is 17 Billion. This came about back in 2018.
If the company had a marketcap of 17 Billion today where would the SP be and how would you, as an investor, evaluate the company based on that marketcap.
Here is a simple reality. Shares in a company can trade very high for long periods of time, they can also trade very low for long periods of time. If you are looking for stocks to purchase you need to find companies that are trading cheap and be willing to wait out the cycle. You also need to know how to evaluate the company's progress in the QTR reports to see a path towards future success / increased sales / reduced debt etc.
The only person you should be looking to for your research is YOURSELF or those folks you know in reallife who are willing to help you review and undestand the reports. This is why I suggest co-workers or an accountant you may have access to through work or family / friends networks.
GL with your investments, for God's sake research MarketCap, IMHO it's one of the most over-hyped evaluation numbers you can look towards in your research. Look up Price to Book and Price to Sales Ratios, also Enterprise Value, those numbers (and understanding them better) will likely help more (again IMHO)
