RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Inefficient marketThanks for the pdf.
I roughly calculated (guesstimate) a 2023 full year EPS.
1. Best case scenario if oil is trades over 85 for the rest of the year (and no unexpected expenses)
2023 Net Profit Strathcona Resources - 870 Million
2023 Net Profit Pipestone - 180 Million
(Net Profit) 1050 Million/ 214,2 Million shares = 4.9 EPS for 2023 (high estimate)
(Current Share price 22.72) / 4.9 EPS = 4.62 PE
2. Worst case scenario if oil is trades around 75 for the rest of the year (and including unexpected expenses).
2023 Net Profit Strathcona Resources - 680 Million
2023 Net Profit Pipestone - 130 Million
(Net Profit) 810 Million/ 214,2 Million shares = 3.8 EPS for 2023 (low estimate)
(Current Share price 22.72) / 3.8 EPS = 6 PE
I assume that 2024 the price of oil will be the same as 2023 (around $80- $85 WTI)
