NEO Battery Materials Ltd. is a Canadian battery materials technology company. It is focused on developing silicon anode materials for lithium-ion batteries in electric vehicles, electronics, and energy storage systems. With a patent-protected, low-cost manufacturing process, it enables longer-running and ultra-fast charging batteries compared to existing technologies. It has developed a nanocoating process to manufacture silicon anodes. Its material provides improvements in capacity and efficiency over lithium-ion batteries using graphite in their anode materials.
