about SQM:

about SQM:I've been staying away from the South American salar Li plays because
  • Chile announced intent to "manage" the Li plays active in the country.
  • It takes water to process the salar mining plays and they're in desert.
I've been on the salars of high Bolivia. There is not much water in those high elevation, cold Andean deserts. There won't be enough wate for all the mining projects. For that reason I avoid all those high elevation Cu and Au plays. There are also country risks

I'm invested in Livent (finalizing a merger to Allkem). It's worldwide, and supposedly doing running several pilot programs for direct extraction of lithium (DLE). I'm not sure SQM is doing that.
