RE:Ozempic

RE:Ozempic

There are a number things to take into consideration with Ozempic.  I'm currently taking the medication.
1. It's an expensive medication.  I don't have medical  insurance so for a fairly low dose of 1mg per week, it costs me $260 per month.  My understanding is that in the States, the cost is significantly more.
2.  I feel there is limit to the weight loss.  Lost 20lbs within a few months but it's tapered off over the last 2 months and haven't lost any.  I'm hoping to lose some more but having trouble doing so unless I increase my dosage.
3.  From what I've read, you have to take the medication indefinitely or else the appetite/food cravings back very quickly and with weight gain.
4.  There are a number of side effects.  Sorry I don't have the citation but I recall reading that something like 10% of people can not tolerate the side effects so this medication is not an option for them.
