Northern Dynasty Minerals Ltd. is a Canada-based mineral exploration and development company based in Vancouver. The Company’s principal business activity is the exploration of mineral properties. The Company’s principal asset, owned through its wholly owned subsidiary, Pebble Limited Partnership, is a 100% interest in a contiguous block of about 1,840 mineral claims in Southwest Alaska, including the Pebble deposit, located about 200 miles from Anchorage and 125 miles from Bristol Bay. The Pebble Partnership is the proponent of the Pebble Project. The deposit lies entirely within the Lake and Peninsula Borough, approximately 23,782 square miles of land. I have heard so many arguments over the past 20 years. Donald Trump was supposed to be the saviour for NDM and his own son vetoed the project. The Trumps go to a fishing lodge nearby.
The opposition from the native Alaskans around Bristol Bay and the environmentalists will never diminish and then there is the problem with earthquakes in Alaska. It is also a low grade deposit with humongous infrastructure costs.
I will give credit to RT because he never gave up the fight. I did when they were denied the permit. This investment consumed me for years for a modest profit.
Good luck and I will watch from the sidelines.
