RE:This stock feels deadI spoke to Seema at length. The PEA is supposed to be out in January/February and they think if it shows 330k oz./yr. Then it will be an attractive acquisition target. They blame the risk off environment and lack of acquisition activity and majors having their own issues to deal with as the reason for not buying juniors etc. some of it is valid and some of it is excuses in my opinion. I find the disconnect between the price of gold at 2k and the PRB stock price- and other juniors- to be concerning and confusing. Probe has 5m+ oz in tbe ground and 25+m dollars in the bank so I still view them as a good acquisition target whenever the market does go risk on for the juniors. I don't see any reason to sell this low because fundamentally the company has a good profile, but at 7 years in it does feel like this has taken way too long to get to a point with no end in sight. I would love to hear from anyone knowledgeable about their opinion on the quality of the assets. In terms of what can be done: the board and exec team could buy lots of cheap shares to support the stock price if they believe in the company. And they could market it to institutional investors who are no doubt looking at the beat up junior market and the escalating price of gold and looking to invest in the space. I have zero reason to believe they are doing either of things.
