a circular , unlike any other in my experienceStep right up and " SECURE YOUR FUTURE : ACCEPT THE PREMIUM ALL-CASH OFFER"
"..... the special committee concluded the that the First Letter of Intent was attractive , both from a financial and strategic perspective, and that there was a real risk of losing the First Letter of Intent by running an extensive concurrent to identify, and negiotatewith , other potential acquirers, some of which may have the same potential strategic congruence withthe Corporation as the Purchaser."
I read this to mean we leapt at the offer and didn't follow a process. If you read further , you see the Purchaser did not want a Go Shop period ( there was one ) and there was a market check with company A, company B and the parent company of company C , all of whom they did not demonstrate an interest in doing a transaction.
Strange process but in the end , I'm OK with it.
SECURE YOUR FUTURE : ACCEPT THE PREMIUM ALL-CASH OFFER"
You won't see another.
