Mr D

Mr DAs to your posts to Jeremy while l am positive you have nothing but good intentions and your investing takes definitely are worth considering , l find your posts to himare more like a lecture with a few digs or subtle insults thrown in.This young man should be praised , not lectured. Unlike many Millennials , he does not still live at home with his parents , does not take vacations because he feels entitled and does not spend money recklessly. He owns a house alo g with the bank and has taken charge of his life and is now entering the investment world. People like him who Invest in the economy and are working toward prosperity are a poster boy of what our young are , well frankly not. Yet you choose to admonish his enthusiasm , rain on his parade. You may think you are helping but you are not , in my view. This young fella has his head screwed on straight , he has never said he is looking for home runs , base hits are what he is after and if you think the Utilities , Banks and energy are lousy investments then l wonder what you are into,Cannabis ,High Tech, or just in cash. I wish l had started when l was his age and for whatever reason you almost seem jealous over mistakes that both you and l invested in the past.By the way l retired at age 49 in 2002 because l so.d a home in Soyuthern Ontario and moved to the East Coast where l got more bang for my buck , and lived on the proceeds for years till pensions kicked in other than a grand a month from my wife's years with the Feds. And know we didn't take vacations or done out either , we are both good cooks and bakers respectively and can produce meals at a fraction of the cost. And like you we took a hit in 2008 but quickly prospered to then take another hit in 2014 , just like you.So instead off belittling someone investing , try giving them a little credit , if that isn't to hard to do.
