RE:Man what load of b s Frankie goes to Hollywood. That was the name of a band of the early 80s btw. I've had 4 beers so I'm a bit wobbly in the brain. Let me try to tie Frankie in Hollywood into a metaphor. I reckon that this entire house of cards Ponzi scheme of the global fiat monetary system is gonna crash. I was telling Countryboy69 in a private message about what I think. I give it 3 years max.
The entire system is based on the economy producing goods that back the insane amounts of money being created to have utility so much so that the goods produced can be sold into the market in the amount of money created.
But what happens if nobody wants those goods except at a steep discount because their usefulness (utility) to people goes way down. What if there is an acute food shortage and everybody is selling their useless stuff in exchage for stuff that is useful to people like food.
Frankie in Hollywood has got a $100,000 Telsa but he's starving. So he drives out to the Central Valley towing a trailer full of useless stuff like big screen TVs etc in order to exchange for some food. He comes across a farmer who's got chickens. "How msny chickens can I get for my big screen TV" asks Frankie. "None" replies the farmer "don't need no big screen TV". Starving Frankie persists "What would you accept for a chicken?" Farmer replies "Your Tesla".Frankie objects "But this is a $100,000 car!" Farmer replies "Well this is a $100,000 chicken."
I think that the real Frankie gets it. Just play the swings if you can figure them out and convert profits into something useful. This fiat monetary system is the biggest scam of them all.
