And the floor in the repair shop had to be reinforced at a cost of several million dollars because the e-lemons are about 40 per cent heavier than regular buses and quickly carve grooves in typical concrete floors. (Just imagine what they’re doing to the road surfaces on their routes.)

The e-buses were a $60-million flop. A colossal waste of taxpayers’ money that was easily predictable.

Good things e-bus save on brake pads as they are in the garage most of the time.
