Nickel Creek Platinum Corp T.NCP

Alternate Symbol(s):  NCPCF

Nickel Creek Platinum Corp. is a Canada-based mining exploration and development company. The Company’s principal business activity is the exploration and evaluation of nickel and platinum group metals (PGM) mineral properties in North America. Its flagship asset is its 100%-owned nickel-copper PGM project, located in the Yukon Territory, Canada (Nickel Shaw Project). The project is in the southwest of Canada's Yukon Territory, approximately 317 kilometers (km) northwest (NW) of the capital, Whitehorse. The Nickel Shaw Project is a large undeveloped nickel sulphide project, with a unique mix of metals including copper, cobalt and platinum group metals. The Nickel Shaw Project has access to infrastructure, located three hours west of Whitehorse via the paved Alaska Highway, which further offers year-round access to deep-sea shipping ports in southern Alaska. The Company also maintains environmental baseline activities, considers optimization alternatives and seeks other opportunities.

TIM BITS -

TIM BITS -

Sulphides - Pentlandite metallics

Peridotite, Dunite -

Clinopyroxine - all similar, silicate + crystalines + Mg + Fe

Gabbro - Think black or green graniteQuartz + Sulphide / Quartz + Chloite

If...silicates, solid solution, or crystalines are fine ground what happens ?
= more exposed edges - liberates minerals ( metallic or dry particle in solid solution )
= acid can bond to mineral if silicate or crystal is fine ground.

Nickel Silicate ( Chlorite ) + Sulphuric Acid

Double Swap
NiCl2 + H2SO4 = NiSO4 + HCl

There you go.
NiCl2 turns to Nickel Sulphate

If all ore types are finely ground and soaked in sulphuric acid
= minerals change to, sulphates.

Didn't xps pretreat the ores with a softening of sulphuric acid stage ?
Open circuit - what would that do ?
Convert some minerals to, sulphate ?
Hello....then place rest of ores in, closed circuit ?

July 10 2018
Process ore with a preconditioning of acid before closed circuit.

MPP:
The goal of the MPP was to build upon the technical success in Phase IIA employing the flowsheet improvements in order to produce a representative run-of-mine bulk concentrate sample of sufficient size to perform closed circuit (or locked cycle) testing of Cu/Ni separation.

MPP for Bulk Concentrate

The XPS MPP processed 1,100 kg of Run of Mine (ROM) ore with a head grade of 0.33% Ni, 0.15% Cu, 0.018% Co, 0.23 gpt Pt, 0.29 gpt Pd, and 0.04 gpt Au. The processing circuit incorporated conditioning with sulphuric acid @ pH 5.7 followed by rougher flotation and magnetic scavenging of the rougher tailings (Figure 1).

2017 needs to be revisted.
I'm thinking...aside of the presoak, with no mineral % acid capture reveal.

Our ores basically seen a sulphide ( metallic ) extraction.
Think - separate heavies.
Easiest extraction with flotation.

Question becomes
What would scrapping 2017 geology classification do
Introduce separate iron + pge's + heavy sulphides in metallic form

then... fine grind rest of ores with an acid soak
= convert silicate, solid solution, crystalines to = sulphates
= employ electrolysis ( this is how nickel metal is made )
= fetch premium price

As mention in prior posts....
Timmins juniors have dunite and peridotite
Anson has the olivines ( 90% solid solution with mega Mg )
= Each have no extraction issues

Here's another great example...

POWER NICKEL ( quebec )

Has the peridotites + sulphides
Thin widths nice grades
But thin widths = shaft mining ( can't grab it all )

Check out Power Nickel's ceo.ca bullboard. ( pnpn )
Interesting discussion on CEO will fight, naked shorting.

2017 ( Nickel Creek ) Press
Also said, test Gabbs and Sulphides at later date.
Hard not to think, UG mine reserves.

Could this... test at later date not occurred, carried over to,
No measurement or extraction stats for eng firm ?
Can't report underground resources in reserves ...?
UG mine ?
Page 222 ( 2023 PFS )
Hard to say...

Cheers...
