Roses are red, Buffett is green Roses are red,
Violets are blue,
Pyrogenesis' profits,
Are feeling quite askew.
While stocks are like rockets,
Here in the wrong direction,
Investors are puzzled,
In financial dissection.
Flames of red ink,
On the balance sheet dance,
Pyrogenesis is burning,
But not in finance.
Yet hope springs eternal,
In the business game,
Maybe next quarter,
They'll rise to fame!
Now to quote Buffett, lets not confuse what he says about price vs value-Price is what you pay, value is what you get
Buffett also said to value a company it depends on cash flow:
“the present value of the stream of cash that’s going to be generated by any financial asset between now and doomsday. And that’s easy to say and impossible to figure.”
And what is most important is to know that cash flow is sustainable:
“The most important thing [is] trying to find a business with a wide and long-lasting moat around it … protecting a terrific economic castle with an honest lord in charge of the castle,”
So the declining revenues, significant losses here, and lack of a moat give one pause
alll IMO
