RE:RE:RE:RE:Options/WarrantsWarrants are RIGHTS given to the warrant holder to buy shares from the company at a preset price. The RIGHT to do this has a time limit after which it expires. The number of shares one can buy with the warrants are also preset. That is 1 warrant for 1 share, 1 warant for 0.5 share etc. With some larger companies, the warrants can be traded like stocks. The money the comapny receives when the warrant is exercised goes into the company treasury.
