Barrick Gold will buy this IMO

Barrick Gold will buy this IMOBarrick Gold was interested in this just 6 months ago. They wanted a merger at $36 a share. Now it's $11 a share. This is a match made in heaven. Barrick needs a canadian company with some write offs and Barrick is large enough that this mine would only be a small percentage of its overall portfolio. The reality is that Panama needs this mine, and a larger miner needs to step in who can play hardball. Right now, First Quantum has no leverage because Panama knows how badly FQ needs this. If Barrick bought it, then Barrick could simply shut it down and hold out until Panama realizes that 40,000 job loss and 5% GDP = what have we done??? and then reap the benefits.
